Biden has been declared the winner and we'll have to see what happens. There have been too many discrepancies, allegations, and inconsistencies to be ignored. Getting blocks of several thousand votes and stating that there weren't any votes for Trump in there is statistically impossible. We'll see if the lawsuits bring anything or not. I doubt it. It's just not only was the election stolen, but it was blatantly done so. To tell you the truth, I'm just completely tired of hearing about it. Just about all the news articles in my news feed are anti Trump and that isn't going to change.
Okay, I'm heading out to get a storage shed for my shooting bench and targets. I'll put it out by the range where it is easier to get things out, instead of in the garage. It's raining here today, so that will slow down things. I got the plywood backing for the targets yesterday.
It is quite possible that the ammo shortage will continue. I heard that Federal took over the Remington ammo line, but without any resources. That plant is in AR and we've driven by it a few times. Other plants in the north east are running with skeleton crews or not at all.
Kimber is leaving New York state and is moving to Troy, AL. Another gun maker leaving the NYC area. Gee, I wonder why? Kimbers are over priced to me, but yes, I have one. It was my first expensive 1911. I got it in 2006 or so. I can get a 1911, built for me, at the same or lower price today. It would take some time, but it would be worth it to me. That's just my opinion. Kimber is doing well in sales, so what do I know. Mine stays in the car and has ridden many miles.
As I hear about what is going on in the firearms industry, I try to pass it on. I have a couple of contacts, that I get information from, that are reliable.
Stay safe, pay attention about what is going on around you, and take care.
