I'M BACK AGAIN

I stopped writing this blog because I was tired of writing about bad things happening. I thought I could pause for awhile and things would get better. I then could start up again with good news or opinions. That hasn't been the case. Things haven't improved, in fact, they have gotten worse.

The Biden administration hasn't brought unity, in fact, it has done the opposite. Biden has said some very stupid things and it seems very apparent that he doesn't know what is going on a lot of the time. His statements about the voting laws in TX and GA are completely false. The Liberals are trying their best to make sure that they stay in power by making sure that they get to say who gets to vote and how. He doesn't understand any thing about the Second amendment, or the laws governing firearms. If he isn't intentionally lying, then somebody is feeding him false information. It sounds like he wants to force everyone to get the vaccine, even if they don't want it. They have non-medical people going door to door and asking if the people living there have been vaccinated. They aren't government employees, yet the Government is giving money to states to pay for this. It also sounds like they are giving shots to people on the spot. Again, these aren't medical people. If they come to our door (they have to get through the gates first), they won't bee treated nicely. There isn't any law that forces you to talk with them. However there are trespass laws.

It is very apparent that many in Congress aren't for this country. The "Squad" sure aren't. I just heard this morning that AOC now says the US is to blame for the problems in Cuba. It just couldn't be the Communist party there, could it? Pelosi and Schumer aren't any better. They don't want to do anything unless it benefits the Liberals. Even Liz Cheney (those of you in WY know her) has turned against the Republican party.

It's disappointing to write about what is going and I know that with me writing about it, won't change anything. However it seems that the administration now is helping the social media giants with censoring what is posted. If it continues, it won't be very long until only blogs like this won't be censored. Let's face it, these blogs will be stopped also. Not a very friendly world to look forward to, is it?

The ammo situation is starting to ease some, but the prices remain high. I've read that it make take a year and a half to get back to normal for ammo and gun productions. Maybe next time, I'll tell you a story about how Steve Hornady couldn't even get Hornady Bullets for an up coming African hunt. Heck, he owns the company.

Parts of the country is under drought conditions yet we've had rain almost every day for I don't know how long. The moisture and the warm days has the grass growing very quickly. It is hard to keep it mowed when it stays wet.

I killed a small copperhead outside our kitchen door on Wednesday. We've had another snake, or snakes, around, but it (they) look like black racers and aren't a problem.

That's a lot for today. I don't know how often I'll be posting. So, take care, pay attention, and be aware of your surroundings.
