I'm Back After a Year

Well, it's been over a year since I've posted. I had stopped because the negative stuff was getting tiresome to talk about. However, the negative events are still going on and it's time to vent again.

I'm going to start with an analogy. I'm in the red gang and I'm going to visit the orange and green gangs. The blue gang has heard rumors that I might go into their area on my trip. The blue gang tells me not to enter their area or something bad might happen. I have no reason to go to the blue area. I don't speak for the red gang, and I don't have any dealings with anyone there. The leaders of the orange and green gangs are watching to see what the leader of the red gang does. So, now I decide that I can't let the blue gang push me around and I say that I will go into their area if I want to. The leader of the red gang should have stopped me, but he didn't. So now, I'm possibly heading for the blue area (who knows) and the red gang leader has sent to members of the red gang to help protect me. At this time, we don't know what will happen. Will someone die? Will this lead us into war? So, China said don't go there. So, what? Pelosi doesn't speak for our country to other countries. Taiwan isn't exactly a tourist hot spot. We have pledged to not protect Taiwan. Biden could have and should have stopped Pelosi. What the Hell!

Anyway. Flooding in Kentucky and as far as I know, the people I know there are okay. Flooding in Las Vegas? We've had rain about every day for I don't know how long. The creek and/or the pond goes and then goes down. In fact, it's rumbling outside as I write this. Keeps us from having wildfire problems.

Sandy and I still go to the senior center. I go on Tuesday and Friday to sing. Sometimes Sandy goes on Tuesday. She no longer goes to the carving class on Friday. Our Friend (R) had a falling out with the leader of the carving class and Sandy has decided to support him. They carve at her shop on Fridays. We go on Wednesday for bingo. Not exciting to me, but we get to socialize and usually eat lunch there.

A couple of weekends ago, I was hired (I declined being paid) to run the music/karaoke for a friend's celebration of life for his sister. We went to the once- a- month Thursday karaoke potluck last Thursday. There were too many singers (19). It's not much fun to sit there for almost three hours and sing three songs. Sandy and I are putting on a pizza party to honor the staff at the center (19 Aug). Three of us are going to provide the music for dancing. We'll see how that goes.

Som ammo is getting easier to find, but the prices are high to me. Primers are the hardest to find and the prices are very high. I watch for a decent price for the ammo and free shipping. Usually, it takes a $150.00 to $200.00 order to get the free shipping. I did catch an offer for just a $50.00 order and bought some.

I'm not going to get into Roe vs Wade this time. I'll just say that in my opinion, it was correct to send it back to the states. People broke the law by protesting outside the home of the Justices, but for some reason they weren't arrested. I think we know why.

We need to take back the House and the Senate. Then maybe we can get back the WH, before it is too late to save the country.

Sandy and I have new cell phones. The same numbers and that was something trying to maintain them. Long story short, Sandy is with Straight Talk and I'm with AT&T. Both are on prepaid plans instead of on contract. Verizon just became too expensive.
