Well It's Friday

Here's a picture of a S&W body Guard with the shrouded hammer. You can still cock the hammer for single action shooting, but the hammer doesn't snag on anything. Mine has nicer after market grips. Again this will work for protection despite the "expert's opinions" that the revolver is old school and dead. Not so. When you are considering a gun, remember you aren't the police and you don't have to think about what scenarios they face. It is said that most shootouts occur with in seven yards (twenty one feet). You need to think like that and not get wound up on not having enough firepower. It's only a five shot, but with a speed strip (a strip that holds five rounds), you can practice to reload quickly. Or, you could just carry what is called "A New York Reload". That's a second gun. It's quicker than reloading the first one!

I didn't make any points with some of the family on my wife's side today. I basically asked them why they would like to see this country turn in to a socialist country, have their Constitution ignored, and have their money given to someone who didn't earn it.. The question wasn't answered, but one of them said that we all have to make a decision. I said the problem was, their decision would ruin my country. I don't see any response to that last post yet. They live in IL and I think IL is already lost anyway.

I saw a writeup and video on this shotgun today and for less than $300.00 it looks pretty good. It's made in Turkey and there are some decent guns coming out of there. It may not be the same quality as a higher priced gun, but in the video it ran very well. Dickinson Marine Tactical is the name. Take a look if you're interested in a shotgun. It's the kind of gun that if something happened to it, I wouldn't get too broke up. Which is not to mean it's junk. Hey, this is the first time I've used two pictures in a post. I may have to do that again!

I'm glad that the Democratic convention will be over tonight. My wife keeps watching Fox News and of course that's what they all want to talk about. I can hear the TV from the desk I'm at, but I try to ignore it. So many lies put out during that convention.

Okay, tomorrow is Saturday and I hope you can get out and do something. I don't know what I'll be doing, but I'll come up with something.
