This picture is the creek (Hobolochitto) about a quarter mile down the road from us. This flooding is from a previous storm. That storm flooded the road up to our drive way. The creek is still down as of this writing 5:28 PM.
I stayed up until 1:30 this morning watching the tv as Laura beat up Lake Charles, LA. The wife couldn't sleep, so we were up at 4:40 and watched tv for a little while. Back to bed to wake up to no wind or rain. We still haven't seen any wind, so that won't happen now and the rain finally came a little after noon. It's rained off and on, but no heavy stuff yet. However, if the five to eight inches forecast for Little Rock happens, I think the creek will go up. A lot of people in LA, TX, some in MS and AR are without power. I just read that flash flood warnings are out for northern LA, MS, and AR and possibly TN. All that water has to go somewhere.
I tried to put a link to the shooting article, but it hasn't worked for me yet. Maybe I'll figure it out. If I can't get it figured out, I may do a summary of it.

Here's what I don't miss. This was an unusual snowfall (in WY) as the wind didn't blow and the snow didn't drift. The snow usually drifted quite a bit and we had to dig out from inside the house once. Luckily our storm door had an removable center section that I could climb out as I dug through the snow. Ah, the good old days?
As you can tell, I don't have much to talk about today.
I think I'll close for today. Stay safe and be careful.
