Well, here's the range done. Replacing the containers full of sand will be the hardest thing to do. They'll be patched and should last for awhile. The container on the ground will be used for a couple of ground targets that I have. The landscape timbers are three deep and stacked between t-posts. Easily removed and replaced, if needed. The plywood target backers are bolted in place and, of course, will be shot up and need replacing. I'm going to see if spikes pounded in the ground will keep the target holders from moving. If that works, I'll remove the cement blocks. The ground slopes up behind the setup and bullets shouldn't be able to go any where, but I feel better with the backstop. I know one person that uses a plastic 55 gallon drum (with sand) and no backstop. I believe Gary Reeder uses a large garbage can (with sand) in one of his shops for testing. Not quite what I had planned, but it will work. The garden shed has my shooting bench, shooting rest, and targets, so they are easily accessible. I can get back 100 yards for rifles also. It won't make Better Homes and Gardens, but I'll take it.

If you face the range, as in the picture above, turn a quarter turn to the left, this is the view. Complete with two ducks that have moved in for a bit. Maybe they are snowbirds.

Okay, enough for tonight.

As always, stay safe, take care, and pay attention.
