This Will Be The Next Symbol That They'll Want To Remove

The way the bad people are trying to remove any symbol of our heritage and history, this may be the next one targeted. What is going on is absolutely insane. I just watched a video of a black woman screaming that all white babies should be killed. Yep, that's going to ease tensions. But hey, we're the ones causing the problems.
So, Blackout 2020 day is today. Blacks are encouraged to not spend any money, or at least not spend any money with a white owned business. If I had a business, I would call today white discount day. But, of course it would be racist for me to do that. But they other way around isn't. How interesting.
I see FB is going to up it's censorship even more (or at least that's the statement they're making). We'll see.
Raining again, so no mowing today. I may have to use a machete to hack my way to the mower.
Okay, let's talk some about gun calibers. Over the years there have been many ways of expressing gun calibers. Such as, 30-06, 250 Savage, 38-44, 30-30 Winchester, 9mm. I'm not going to explain all the different variations, but we will discuss some handgun rounds today. We'll cover shotgun and rifle in future posts. While there are many, the most common ones talked about for defense are .22 rimfire (rf), .380, 9mm, .38 Special, 357 Magnum, and 45ACP. Yes, there are others, and I may leave your favorite off the list, but these are the most common rounds you'll find in stores. And again, I will state, ammo is getting scarce and stock up now if you need some. The .22 rf is not the best, but there are some people who just can't tolerate recoil. In that case, I would recommend the .22 Magnum. It's still a rimfire cartridge, but it delivers more energy then the normal rimfire cartridges. Maybe not my first choice, but it is one to consider. The .380 is usually chambered in auto loader pistols. The guns conceal well and are light weight. The recoil is not much and a couple of bullets from one (like the .22 mag) is much better than a pointy stick. The sights may not be the best, but there are several makers to choose from. The 9mm is probably the most carried round anymore. It has been up graded with better bullets and the recoil isn't bad. Made in many different makes and models, you should be able to fine one that fits you. Again, sights vary between models. Glocks are carried by many people and they have made the 9mm very popular. No, I don't like Glocks, but that is a personal preference. Many, many thousands of people carry them. Next up is the .38 Special. Normally chambered in a revolver. You can get the round chambered in small frames and short barrels. The sights aren't the best on a lot of them, but you aren't looking to shoot competition with them. You can get light weight models, but then the recoil becomes more noticeable. As I write this, I can look around where I'm sitting and see three such revolvers (don't get me wrong, I can see four autos also). Yes, they only hold five rounds, and some people can't live with that. Some models can be used with +P ammo. That just means the rounds are loaded to a higher chamber pressure, which equates to more velocity and more recoil. the 357 Magnum is next and it is just a lengthened .38 Special. More recoil, but more velocity. You can get some smaller models, but the frames used are larger than the .38. I would suggest that the 357 is more recoil then a lot of people want to shoot. Yes, you can shoot the .38 Special in them for less recoil. Next we'll go to the 45 ACP (Automatic Colt Police). The 45 ACP also come in several different sized models. The 1911 pistol is my favorite model and I have several. The 45 ACP does generate some recoil and some people also find it difficult to shoot the 1911. However, the 45ACP is chambered in several other types of guns besides the 1911. Barrel lengths will vary, as will sights. Plenty of choices out there. Yes, there are other rounds that could be considered, but you may want to think about how easy it is, or will be, to obtain ammo. We'll talk more about the bullets associated with each of these rounds on another day.
Thought for today: Racist. Noun. Someone that opposes race riots. (thanks JT)
As usual, pay attention to your surroundings, take care and be safe.
