The News Is Getting To Her

Here's Sandy with a young Elvis impersonator that performed at the Senior Center last year.
She's not feeling well today and part of it is the news. She watches Fox News a lot and she says it's getting to her (the news, not Fox). She may have a bit of flu, but anyway, I told her we wouldn't be watching fox for awhile. She's really worrying about the election. I am too, but I know there isn't much we can do about it. We'll get out and vote, but beyond that, we only can be prepared for what may happen after the election.
There have been too many threats made towards whites, Trump supporters, seniors, etc., that I think we must be prepared for possible violence after the election. If it doesn't happen great, but you need to be prepared for the possibility. I don't think it would hurt to have some extras put away. Here are some of the things we have been accumulating. Food (canned, frozen, dehydrated), a generator that is wired into the house and will run most things if power is lost, gas for the generator, a radio (that runs on 120v, batteries, chargeable batteries), guns, ammo, pet food, some water. I know it sounds like a prepper talking, but all of these things (except maybe the guns) are kept on hand in this area because of the hurricanes and storms. I don't think anyone really knows what will happen, but I would like to be prepared and not have to use it, than need it and not have it. It's everyone's choice. Hopefully, I'm wrong and I will gladly admit it, if I am.
I think the rural people will be better off then those in some of the larger cities. I believe that ANTIFA may have learned to not fool around with some of the smaller towns, where people will fight back. Maybe they aren't that smart. I guess I just answered my own question by looking at what they have done.
Okay, enough gloom and doom.
Stay safe, be prepared, and be careful.
