Struggling To Make Tonight's Blog

Tonight's blog isn't coming easily. I'm trying to decide what to talk about.

Biden says he doesn't need to take a cognitive test. Of course, his answer why he doesn't just goes to show why he does. I guess he'll debate Trump and I hope he does. I don't think he will do well without a script.

We stopped in at the Billings Cabela's as we needed a short break from driving. Their shelves were just as bare as the last time we were in there. With Bass Pro buying Cabela's out they have quite a few stores. I went to Murdock's Ranch and Home Supply in Columbia Falls, MT and found far more ammo and reloading supplies. Murdock's only has about thirty stores in their system. I wonder what gives?

We ate breakfast at a restaurant in Big Timber, MT today. There weren't any mask required signs on the doors (masks are required) and the diners sure weren't following any social distancing. The food was good though.

We'll be at a friend's house for the next two days and the blog may be quiet for that time. I want to spend time visiting. We were in the Army together and see each other about once a year. Not nearly enough. While I'm on that subject, if you have a friend or friends like that, call them frequently. You never know what will happen. This is a do as I say and not as I do, cause I'm bad about it also.

Some people want Biden to pick Michelle Obama for his VP. I don't see a person in their right mind (he may not be) pick a former boss to work for you. Yes, I know Mr. Obama was president, but I bet Biden did what ever Michelle wanted him to do. Besides she has said repeatedly that she won't do it. I guess we'll see if she has been lying.
