So Many Lies

This looks like a politician that has been caught in a lie. Doesn't really know what to do.

I read an article about the Face Book fact checkers today. I wondered who they were. It seems that some of them aren't even in the US. An example was when people post something about Harris being antigun the fact checkers say it isn't true. Usually the fact checker you are referred to, on that topic, is a newspaper in France. Seems the paper is antigun and will tell you that Harris doesn't oppose the Second Amendment. The trouble is, she filed a brief as a friend of the court when DC was trying to ban handguns and she supported the ban. She has stated more than once she is against guns and the videos are out there. She has also stated that if she becomes VP, she will hunt Trump Supporters down. Again, the videos are out there. I don't think I want a person like that in the Country, let alone helping to run it.

As I said last night, I upset some family on the wife's side yesterday. On FB they had stated they would vote for Biden and I asked them why they would want a socialist state which would ignore the Constitution, and have their money given to someone who didn't earn it? Their answer was in the form of a question attacking Trump and myself. You don't answer a question with a question. After an exchange of words, the bottom line was that they never answered the question. A typical Liberal ploy. I guess they didn't like it when I said their attitude was unamerican. Oh well, I don't expect to see them again anyway.

This picture sums up what I think about the Democratic Convention. From what I read the speakers all spouted doom and gloom, while Kasich and Sanders couldn't agree about the party's direction. Then along came Biden with his acceptance speech that didn't sound anything like what the others have been saying. Someone wrote that speech and he just read along. Did anyone, during the convention, ever denounce the violence that's going on. I didn't watch most of it, but I think I would have heard had anyone done that.

The Chicago Mayor is telling the protestors they can go protest at other people's houses, but not around hers. Hypocrites again.

The Seattle mayor has vetoed the city council's decision to defund the police. It's not that she doesn't want to defund the police, she just thinks there should be another plan in place before it's done.

Oh and Biden now says that he doesn't want to defund the police. Why didn't he come out and say that earlier, instead of waiting until after the nomination and then go on TV and say it? It's just politics.

I guess I'd better do something today. Stay safe and take care.
