Oops, I Forgot

I just plain forgot about doing the blog yesterday. The picture doesn't have anything to do with tonight's topics. It's a tug, pushing a barge, on the Mississippi River.

Well, tropical storm Marco sort of fizzled out. We didn't even get much rain. Maybe, Laura will do more.

I did decide to get a manual switch set up for connecting the backup generator, we have, to the house. I'll try to get the kit installed tomorrow. The generator will power most of the house except for the A/C. I've got fuel cans filled as are both the vehicles. Just in case the power was to go out for awhile. We've been told that Katrina put the power out for several days here. Just makes sense to be prepared.

I didn't see very much of the Republican Convention today as I don't really care to hear about what is being said. What is being done is more important to me. The stock market was up again today and that is what I want to hear. Of course, I think the main media was already bashing the convention be for it started. But, they lie all time anyway.

I read that Harris should not be responsible for her ancestors that owned slaves. That's not what the whites are being told. Typical double standard from the Liberals.

We had a leak in our upstairs A/C unit. I called the company and within about thirty minutes a repairman was here. He helped install the unit and knows it. He got the repair done quickly and also did the yearly maintenance check. Saved us some money.

I keep reading, on a forum I'm on, that a person on there from Louisiana says that his local gun shop has primers. I don't know how they have them when the big stores don't. Maybe they had a lot put away.
