On The Road Again

We hit the road today. We'll be moving a little faster than the coach in the picture.

We had some heavy rain after supper yesterday, so I didn't go to town. The weather probably put a damper on any rally or protest. Oh well, maybe next time.

I don't know what to write about tonight. There is so much crap being spread out there. I don't know why blacks are fairing more poorly with the virus, but blaming the Governor of GA for it, doesn't solve the problem. If a business wants to mandate masks that's fine. It is their right to refuse service to anyone. However, the business needs to enforce the mandate or why have it. We are wearing our masks and would like to see others wear them. There are times that personal beliefs or rights need to be changed for the good of the whole. I'm getting fed up with the people who keep saying that the virus is 95% political. I really don't want to see any of their friends or relatives get it, but maybe that is what it will take. We have lost friends because of the virus, while some others have survived. Not fun at all.

I want to say that some times I will mention a business or a product. Except for my friend that has a custom gun business and a retail store, I don't have any relationship with the business. I will recommend a product if I like it and sometimes if someone who's recommendations I respect says it's good I'll pass that on. I can't try everything and yes there are things that I don't care about. But, if I think some of you might like it, I'll let you know. Yes, there are certain companies that I don't care for, but unless there is something specific, I just don't talk about them.

We'll be in Springfield, MO tomorrow and I'm going to see if I can get over to Bass Pro. As far as I know, Springfield was their first store and it certainly has grown. Maybe they will have some ammo, but it is unlikely. I'll let you know.

The last time we were on the road, I passed on a rifle because I didn't want to spend the money. I now know I made a big mistake as it was a very good price. Lesson learned, if you are looking for a specific gun (I wasn't even thinking about that rile), know what a good price is. You can buy a gun from a dealer in most states and have them ship to your local shop. Your local shop will charge a transfer fee, but it's a way of getting something your local shop doesn't have. But, do inquire beforehand what the fee is. I have seen some varying amounts charged.

I guess that's it for tonight. As usual, stay safe and take care.
