Not Good For Elephants

We stopped at Cabela's in Mitchell, SD and found some ammo. I bought several boxes of 5.56, 62 gr. ammo and one box of .22 mag. I like the 62 gr. and it is harder to find, but they had a good amount and more of the 55 gr. ammo. I was surprised and while I didn't really need it, you should get some when you find it. I didn't see any 9mm ammo at all. And yes, I wouldn't use any of these on elephants.

We are staying in Wall, SD tonight. Yes Wall Drugs is a big tourist area and there were way more people than I felt comfortable being around. Some wearing masks and some not. We went to the book store, ate dinner, and went back to the motel.

I see that the couple in St. Louis have been charged with a felony for coming out with their weapons. I hope the Governor will stand by his word and get involved.

Trump is sending Federal Officers to some of the larger cities, we'll see how that plays out. A Navy veteran said that he was beaten by Federal Officers. I don't know the whole story except he went to a protest. Just because he's a veteran doesn't mean he was in the right. Any more, being a veteran makes you a saint. Not so.

There was a march, by a lot of people supporting the police, across the Brooklyn bridge. Did you hear anything about it? I didn't until just now on the computer.

We'll stay in Sheridan WY tomorrow night. We've been disappointed in a couple of the motel rooms on the trip and we aren't that fussy at all. I make all reservations to the destination before we leave and sometimes the rooms don't quite equal the room descriptions.
