More Trouble Brewing

I haven't been on for a few days as the news hasn't been very upbeat. However, today a Congressman from New Jersey pissed me off enough to post. As you can read, he wants Pelosi to not seat the Republican House members that were in agreement with the Texas suing MI. I would remind this asshole (yes I can say this, it's my blog) that these are legally elected members of Congress. Trying to evoke something under the 14th Amendment, saying they are traitors, is the kind of crap that will start a civil war in this country. I certainly don't like Pelosi, but I think even she is not that stupid. I guess we'll see.

Tomorrow, we'll be heading to MT to see family before, during, and after Christmas. We are well aware that Covid is out there, but we can't just hunker down and not live our lives. Charlie Pride died today from Covid complications, a family member died yesterday from it. We've lost friends and know several more that have had it. None of us are guaranteed about tomorrow, so we are going to be careful, act safely, wear our masks, and continue on. We aren't going to tell anyone else how to live their lives.

Friday I picked up a shotgun for a friend of mine. It's a present for his daughter. He couldn't find one and a friend of his (with an FFL) couldn't fine one. I am glad I helped him, but I also am enjoying one upping the other guy. You're right, I don't care for him.

I was told that one of the two largest distributors of guns, ammo, etc., has stated that their resources for getting ammo will dry up shortly. As I've been telling you, if you see any and it is any where close to a good price, grab it. It may be awhile before we see any.

I guess that's all for now. So much negative news out there it's really depressing.
