It was Bound to Happen

I see that someone was shot in Albuquerque when protestors tried to bring down a statue. It is debatable whether that should have happen, but it was coming. I think the majority of Americans are getting upset with what is going on. It would be hard to shoot someone that wasn't armed, but there comes a time when destroying property has to stop, or be stopped. From what I read, the mayor didn't seem to say much against the protestors. These protestors have burned and looted businesses in several cities and some of the businesses were owned by the very people these protestors are trying to save. Makes no sense to me. I see that the people occupying the so called CHAZ area, in Seattle, are putting out demands. List supplies that they want. I think there should be a blockade around the area preventing any supplies form getting in. Locals said that there wasn't any response to a 911 call about a business burning. May be those local should demand the mayor do something about the occupation. Or, maybe they should do something about it themselves.

It is supposed to reach 90 here today, without any rain. We took a little trip over to the coast yesterday. We had lunch at Bacchus by the Beach. A good place, but pricey. It was busy, but the restaurants around here are doing seating at 50 percent. It was nice to get away for awhile. The oysters were great.

A couple is coming over for a visit and it's almost time for them to arrive. So, I'll close for now. Take care everyone and be safe.
