Imagine My Surprise

When the Mayor of Tulsa lifted the curfew after I posted yesterday. It was a good move. I don't know what will happen at the rally today, but I'll bet there are more than the usual Secret Service people there. I don't care if protestors show up, as long as they keep it peaceful. Apparently, someone was killed in the occupied area of Seattle. The police tried to gain entrance, but were pushed back by a mob. From what I have read, there are non-protestors that either live in the area, or their business is in the area. If it was one of those people who was killed, I hope some one sues the Mayor for not stopping this nonsense. I saw the Susan Rice (former National Security Advisor to Obama) has stated that the Senators who support Trump belong in the trash heap of society. She, of course, wants Biden to select her for VP. She also claimed Benghazi was caused by a movie. It was proven she lied about that, so I don't think I'll pay any attention to her.

That's a picture of Sandy at the first Mardi Gras parade we were in. We didn't know we were going to participate, so the costume wasn't planned. I don't know about Super Man. It really is a Lundi Gras parade (the Monday before Mardi Gras). This parade is all golf carts or walking. We walked the first time, but have rented a golf cart since. Mardi Gras really is a specific day (Fat Tuesday). The whole thing is know as Carnival Season. There many parades around the gulf coast. Sandy prefers to throw stuffed animals and the crowds due like that. I stick with the beads. We belong to two Mardi Gras Krewes. The one pictured above is the Mystic Krewe of the Sea Horse and is in Bay St. Louis. They are always pirates with a second underlying theme each year. The one in Picayune is The Krewe of the Pearl (after the Pearl River) and they have a different theme each year. Enough about that. I need to get to work and do something. I hope the people at the rally remain safe and all of you do too. Take care.
