I See Biden Is Talking Now

Once a year, Gary Reeder hosts an event called the Handgun Hunters Challenge. This year it is 30 Sep-4 Oct and is (as usual) outside of Monterey, TN. At a place called Wilderness Hunting Lodge. Many species of game are available. Call Sandy at 931-979-4050 and give her a $250.00 deposit. That covers your room and board for the hunt. Critters are extra and processing can be done on site. This will be my tenth or eleventh trip there. The above picture is what it looks like when Gary brings examples of his different series of guns. Some times hunters put their guns on the table to show what can be done for a custom gun. The hunting doesn't have to be with a handgun. You are welcome to use whatever you want.

Rumor has it that the gun and ammo shortage is caused by a couple of things. The plants are running at way below capacity due to two things. The virus has the plants down to one shift and the plants may be sitting back to see what happens with the election. If it is calm, they don't want to get stuck with a big inventory. It may be that they are afraid of a Biden win and his gun grabbing. I don't think they will have any worries about it being calm.

I see that Biden is now condemning the violence. The Democrats had several days of their convention to do that and they didn't. The backlash seems to have gotten to them. Of course, it's Trump's fault. Even though the towns are run by Democrats. He's even going to come out of his basement and tour. I'd like to see the debates, but I'm wondering if they will happen. If Biden can stall long enough, they won't.

I guess the predicted rain up north didn't happen. The creek hasn't gone up at all.
