I Don't Know

I don't have a good picture for the statement above, but I don't think social distancing is being observed here.

The "I don't know" is what I think about what's going on. I just saw a video of a young mother walking with her daughter, in NYC, and a car pulls up and shoots her. She's black and I can't see who is in the car, but I have my thoughts. But hey, the Mayor blames it on the virus. What? New York City is not a safe place and I don't see me ever going there. I also didn't see any mention of it in the main press. I'm so surprised. I saw another video where the guy points a gun at two police officers and they shoot him. Four different cameras, from four different angles, show what happened. Yes, the guy is black and we can be sure the "outrage" will happen again. Joe Biden won the DE and NJ primaries (by landslide) Tuesday. As there wasn't anyone running against him, I would expect he would win. Warren and Sanders still had their names on the ballot, but they have suspended the campaigns. And now, Kanye West is running for President. I'm sure he's going to bash the government, but his company took millions from the stimulus money as did his wife for her company.

We watch Fox some, but I think Tucker Carlson is getting himself in trouble. He's been attacking Tammy Duckworth and while I don't care for her, she's a veteran that lost both legs when her helicopter was hit by an RPG (rocket propelled grenade). Most of the audience is only going to see that part. She is a Liberal and not everyone that has served is always the best person. There are bad people in the Military, as there is in every occupation. I know, as I saw them myself.

UPS just brought some 22WMR (Winchester Magnum Rimfire) to the door. If you're looking for some, check out Midway USA. A company that I have done business with for several years. I ran across some and decided to get it. I was in Sportsman's Warehouse in Slidell, LA yesterday. A lot of empty shelves and no 223/5.56 in sight. Also, I didn't see any handgun ammo. I did buy one box of Sierra bullets. I already had some, but I say again, if you need something (even if you don't), get it now. Even some bullets for reloading are in short supply.

We were discussing handgun calibers yesterday, but I didn't say much about what weight bullets are typically used for what round. Of course, everyone has their favorites as usual. We'll start with the the 9mm and the bullet weight is usually between 115-125 grs (grains). There are some 147 grs made, but not all guns will like them. I guess it is time to explain the weight designation for bullets and powder. There are 347.5 grs to an ounce and 7000 grains to a pound. I think that's a good place to stop for today.

As always, take care and be safe.
