Yes, I'm back. Sometimes it isn't easy to get to the blog when you're visiting with friends. Especially, if drinking some scotch is involved. Anyway here I am.

The NHL is playing and it's the only sport I'll watch right now. I don't see them kneeling. Unfortunately, the Junior hockey team pictured is going any more. We had season tickets and enjoyed the games. Some pleasant memories.

I was in the Sportsman's Warehouse, in Casper WY, yesterday and they had received a shipment in of 9mm. I don't really need more and I didn't like the price at $14.00 per fifty. Probably not a bad price for what is going on today. Anyway, it was the most 9mm on the shelves that I have seen since starting this trip. I'll say again, if you are thinking about buying a gun or some ammo, do it now.

I looked through the news feed and there wasn't a lot of good news today. Mostly the same old negative stuff. The stock market was up today and maybe it will continue to do so.

I see the Governor of MI is saying how proud she is that she shut down gun shops in her state. This is from some one that has armed security.

Have you thought about my comments on a house defense plan? Get started on it tomorrow. It won't take much time to get it set up and practiced.

I carry a flashlight and a defensive pen in a pouch on my belt. The flashlight is used a lot and the pen can be used to strike someone, unscrewed to an actual pen, or a small knife blade. I'll have to post the name of the pen tomorrow. I also carry a folding knife in one of the front pockets. That's just my way of doing it. Some carry a multi-tool. When armed a spare magazine isn't a bad idea. Just some thoughts to consider.
