I was told today that one of our Granddaughters reads the blog. So, hello Debbie. She is planning a wedding for next summer.
Let's start with this. Brittney Griner (WNBA) says that the national Anthem has no place in sports. Personally, I am beginning to think sports have no place in this country. These over paid grownups think that they are so important. Hell, they get paid for playing games that 10 year old kids play for free.
Well, Kanye West has submitted his signatures to get him on the ballot in MO. If the signatures check out, he'll be on there with Trump and Biden. It's the way the law works, but what a waste of time.
It seems that Biden is having trouble trying to pick a VP running mate that he can trust. That's really too bad. I'd wish him luck ,but then I'd be lying.
It seems a couple walked into a Walmart in MN wearing face masks with swastikas on them and were asked to leave. That really should be okay by the First Amendment. However, I would have tossed them out also. Now some trivia. The swastika was an American Indian symbol (and some Asian cultures) long before the Nazis adopted it. It was called the whirling log and stood for healing, protection and well being. After the Nazis started using it, the American Indians came together and decided to quit using it. Ever so often, an old item with the symbol comes up for sale. I have one such piece sitting on my desk at home. It is a piece of our country's history.
The stock market was up today, but your portfolio may or may not have increased in value. it just depends on what parts went up. Yes, I know it's confusing and I don't fully understand it either.
The mask mandates are sure causing some bad feelings around the country.
I see the media is still lying about what is happening in Portland, OR. They are Federal Officers no matter how they are dressed.
I had an e-mail from an ammo dealer that they had 500 count packs of Winchester 9mm ammo in stock. I'm familiar with this dealer and I sort of knew what would happen if I opened the e-mail, but I did anyway. Temporarily out of stock it stated. Seems like false advertising to me.
Okay, enough for tonight. As always, take care and stay safe.
