Freedom Isn't Free

Freedom has never been free. People through out the ages have had to work to preserve their freedom. And, they still are today. Bad things are going on within our country and something is going to happen. This should be a day of laughter and family festivities. But, there was looting in CA last night and who knows what will happen today or tonight. One good thing, one of the people responsible for the burning of the police building in MN has been arrested in CO. I salute our law enforcement agencies for working together and getting it done.

Yesterday, a woman that worked or ran the Pioneer Museum in Stillwater TX posted some where " I hope that every one of you pieces of shit that votes Republican dies today". The post was deleted later. Well, that just struck me the wrong way and I found the web site for the museum. I sent an email stating what I thought about the post. I received a reply stating the woman had lost her job over the post. Sometimes, something is done to correct bad behavior.

Last night, we watched Trump's speech and thought it was a good one. I have not watched the news today to see what the Democrats have said about it. I just don't care. No matter what he said, it would be wrong.

The stock market has gone up a little the last couple of days and that's good news. Who knows if it will stay up. The price of gas has gone up and that isn't helping people.

Well, I just heard thunder and that means some rain today, maybe.

Now the NFL is going to play the black national anthem at each of the first week games. I wouldn't be watching anyway, but I encourage people to boycott the games. I never heard about a black national anthem before. We only have one National Anthem and that is for everyone. Sports only thinks about one thing and that is making money. I would like to think they would alienate enough people to hurt their wallets, but I don't think that will happen.
